HE CONQUERS WHO ENDURES
I taught myself to program many projects, including Pong, Angry Birds, a Chess Server, and a Sudoku Solver. Learning to code was a skill I always wanted to try, but never had the opportunity to due to my school's lack of cs classes, by learning how to program on my own however, as well as creating many projects both with partners and alone, I have become more proud of myself knowing how far I can go alone and with other people in the pursuit of learning.
Volunteering as the Director of Finance to a newly created mental health app dedicated to assisting those with mental disabilities, suicidal thoughts, and those who feel unhappy during a pandemic. Responsible for managing the apps financial income and proving resources such as advice and financial recommendations.
Outside of programming, I am also a competitive Chess player who has won several chess tournaments, including winning 5th place at the 2020 Washington High School Chess championships and invited to compete on the 2019 Washington State Chess Championship.

I'm a current freshman and Western Washington University in the CS Scholars program. My goal in my career is to build, create, teach, and learn about programming and the future of technology.
